Welcome to Rev. Dr. Nam Ok Yoo!

On Sunday, June 23, 2024, the West Point Grey United Church congregation unanimously endorsed the Search Committee’s recommendation of Rev. Dr. Nam Ok Yoo as our new Congregational Minister.
She comes to us from Willingdon Heights United Church in Burnaby, where she served as Congregational Minister. Previously, Rev. Yoo served as Congregational Minister in a rural Alberta charge. She holds advanced degrees, including a master’s in theology from the Vancouver School of Theology. She is dedicated and prepared to lead all aspects of worship and to provide welcoming service to our Point Grey neighbours.
We will welcome Rev. Yoo in September and look forward to her leadership and the inspiration she will bring to our faith community.
Appreciation is expressed to our Congregation and to members of the Search Committee for the exciting new steps we will now take with Rev Yoo.
